The name of MV Baltic Radio stands for

• MV -> Mecklenburg/ Vorpommern,

• Baltic -> the Baltic Sea which is the inland sea quite close to us,

• Radio -> well, we want to make radio which reminds the listeners of the time when radio listening still was a real experience.

The Stör-Sender will life on with regard to our style and program. We will extend the program step-by-step. In future there will be a program block called “Stör-Sender”.

We will wait and see how fast things can be realized. Everybody can contribute.

By use of the radio station in Jülich, we will be able to broadcast our program via digital short wave (DRM). We will broadcast within one radio band, and we will have fixed broadcasting times.

If the occasion arises, we will take advantage of the Ulbroka radio station at special moments.
